Installation Services – Bronze Commissioning

Video Transcript:

Hey everyone. I’m Taylor Andrews, and welcome to the SonicAire Customer Services Series. These videos are here to support customers who have already purchased a SonicAire fan system. We’ll walk through installation and commissioning expectations so you know exactly what happens next and how to prepare.
You chose SonicAire because you want a safer, cleaner facility-without the constant headache of manual dust cleaning.
And when you selected our Bronze Commissioning Service, you also chose peace of mind with an extra year of warranty coverage on your fans.
But we know this part of the process can feel confusing.
Who does what?
When should installation be finished?
And what exactly happens when a SonicAire technician comes onsite?
This video will walk you through the Bronze process-step by step-so there are no surprises.
At SonicAire, we’ve helped thousands of facilities protect their people and stay compliant with combustible dust standards.
We know your time is valuable, and we want this process to be smooth, efficient, and worth every dollar you invested.
That’s why Bronze commissioning exists-to make sure your system is installed correctly and set up for long-term success.
So, what is Bronze Commissioning?
Think of it as a final quality check-done by SonicAire experts-before your system officially goes live.
With Bronze Commissioning, SonicAire:
* Verifies your fans are installed to our standards
* Confirms settings like oscillation and controls
* Performs safe test runs
* Trains your team on how to use the system
* And activates your extended warranty, giving you two full years of coverage
That extra warranty only applies when the system is commissioned correctly-so this step really matters.
Step 1: Installation Happens First
First, your installation team installs the fans.
This includes:
* Fans fully mounted
* Power run
* Control panels installed
* Safety cables and sway braces in place
Important:
Please don’t turn the fans on yet.
Early startup can damage the system and may void the extended warranty.
Step 2: You Complete the Checklist & Send Photos
Once installation is complete, you’ll fill out the Bronze Commissioning Checklist and send us photos of each fan, mount, and control panel.
These photos help us:
* Confirm everything is ready
* Prevent delays
* And avoid costly return trips
We know paperwork isn’t fun-but this step saves time and money later.
Step 3: SonicAire Schedules Commissioning
After we receive your checklist and photos, our service team schedules your commissioning visit.
Bronze commissioning is usually booked 4 to 6 weeks out, so sending photos promptly helps keep things moving.
Step 4: SonicAire Technician Onsite
When our technician arrives, they’ll inspect each fan using a detailed verification process.
We’ll:
* Check mounts, safety cables, and hardware
* Verify settings and controls
* Make minor mechanical adjustments if needed
* Perform test cycles
* And train your team on system operation
If we find major installation or electrical issues, we’ll document them and explain next steps.
Those repairs stay with your installation team-but we’ll clearly point out what needs to be fixed.
A few important things to remember:
* SonicAire does not perform electrical repairs
* Lifts needed to access fans are usually provided by the customer
* Modified mounts or equipment can void the warranty
* Your installation team should be available while we’re onsite
If the system isn’t ready, a return trip may be required-and that can mean extra cost.
Our goal is to help you avoid that.
When Bronze commissioning is done right, you win.
You get:
* A system verified by SonicAire experts
* Confidence your fans are doing what they’re designed to do
* Proper training for your team
* Fewer headaches down the road
* And two full years of warranty protection
Most importantly, you get a safer, cleaner facility-without relying on constant manual cleaning.
If all of this feels overwhelming-or if you’re unsure about your installation resources-there are other options.
For example, SonicAire’s Gold Installation Service puts everything in our hands from start to finish.
Your sales rep can walk you through whether one of these would make sense for your facility.
Thank you for trusting SonicAire.
We’re grateful to partner with you in creating a safer, healthier work environment.
